Fundraising Events Throughout the Year

The Friends conduct numerous fundraising activities throughout the year to support improvements and special projects.  Please check our news page for the latest events. Some activities are one-time events while others occur on a recurring basis. These include:

July 4th Community Bash — The Friends, with sponsorship and support from local businesses and individuals, hosts a community-wide Fourth of July celebration in the park from noon until 11:00 p.m. This free to all event offers beer, soda, water, and food for purchase and live music under a large tent. Centrally located in the park in front of the pool building, this is a prime location for watching the Hales Corners July 4th Parade and, later, fireworks, which are launched in the park.

The Hales Corners Christmas House — Each December the Friends hosts tours of a local home beautifully decorated by local businesses. The Christmas House kicks off the holiday season the first weekend in December and is complemented by the tree lighting at the Library on Saturday night, as well as by other local holiday events.
