The Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool marked Earth Day with our 22nd Annual cleanup of Hales Corners Park & Pool, joining forces with Georgetown University Alumni Clubs’ 12th Hoya Baxa Give Back, a global community service initiative driving meaningful change.
Giving back to our community is a core value that Georgetown University instilled in me, and I’m proud to see it in action.
Our dedicated Friends volunteers made a profound difference, collecting and bagging over 50 large plastic bags of leaves from Hales Corners Pool and surrounding areas.
Collaborating with the Milwaukee County Parks department operations staff was a true pleasure, showcasing exceptional teamwork and a shared commitment to creating a better future.
