Summer fun, friendly competition, and community spirit are returning to Hales Corners as the Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool officially announce the return of their popular summer volleyball leagues for 2026.
Beginning Tuesday, June 9, teams from across the area will gather at Hales Corners Park & Pool for weekly volleyball action on the park’s sand court. Games are played at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. and continue throughout the summer season through August 11, offering residents and neighboring communities a fun and active way to connect.
Organized by the Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool, the league continues a long-standing mission to create recreational opportunities that bring people together. Since 2003, the organization has worked to develop and maintain a welcoming environment where residents and visitors alike can enjoy outdoor activities, community events, and family-friendly recreation.
This year’s volleyball league is open not only to residents and businesses in Hales Corners, but also to surrounding communities including Franklin, Greenfield, Greendale, New Berlin, and Muskego. Organizers encourage local businesses, community groups, and residents to sponsor and form teams for the season.
Sponsor a Team
Team sponsorships are available for $350, giving businesses and organizations a great opportunity to support local recreation while building camaraderie and community visibility. The league offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where players of varying skill levels can enjoy friendly competition, summer evenings outdoors, and neighborhood pride.
“Let’s see who has the best community spirit on our volleyball sand court,” organizers shared in the official announcement, emphasizing the event’s focus on community connection and participation.
In addition to providing entertainment and recreation, the volleyball league helps strengthen local partnerships and encourages residents from neighboring communities to gather, socialize, and support one another throughout the summer months.
Those interested in registering a team are encouraged to contact Melinda at Parks Edge Preschool for additional details and registration information. Early registration is encouraged as interest in the returning league continues to grow.
The Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool remain committed to enhancing the park experience for the community through recreational programming, special events, and continued improvements that benefit residents of all ages.
