The Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool (I’m the cofounder and President of the Friends) received our final approval earlier tonight from the Village of Hales Corners Plan Commission for the Alyson Dudek International Ice Center and the Jerry and Dorothy Holz Family Shelter projects to be built in Hales Corners Park this year or next.
This public-private partnership between the Milwaukee County Parks Department, Village of Hales Corners, Foundations, and private businesses has been in the works for seven years and it feels great to be so close to construction.
