Kudos to Mike Seavert and Bob Stollenwerk, the two chairmen for the Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool 18th Annual Earth Day Cleanup of Hales Corners Park & Pool.
We had approximately 75 community volunteers who came out on this beautiful Saturday and worked very hard from 9:00 am – Noon.
The majority of the volunteers were from the church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints and Whitnall Middle School. Thousands of pounds of leaves, weeds, branches, and garbage were bagged in sixty five fifty five gallon bags.
Supervisor, Patti Logsdon, also joined our group and she worked right along side with all of us.
On behalf of the Village of Hales Corners and the surrounding communities, thank you to Mike and Bob for your outstanding leadership and to all of the community volunteers who made the Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool 2021 Earth Day cleanup a huge success!
