Pool House Cleanup

Mike Seavert, hard at work early this morning cleaning up in the front area of the Hales Corners Pool house. In addition, Brian, his mom, Lynette, and dad, Mark are pictured. Brian is a seventh grader at Whitnall Middle School and he called me last week about wanting to do some clean-up in Hales Corners Park for a science project.

This goes to what I added to the mission statement for the Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool a few years ago. “Hales Corners Park the cleanest Park in Milwaukee County.”

Well done Brian! Thank you very much.

Finally, kudos to my Village Board colleague, Ken Meleski, who is also pictured. Ken helped me take down the Friends community volleyball net this morning.

In a few short weeks we will be installing the temporary Alyson Dudek International Ice Rink in this area for the fifth winter season of recreation and fun for the community! Also, the work on the new bridge in back of Hales Corners Park has been completed.

Great things are happening every day in Hales Corners Park! 😊
