At 11:00 am today, The American Legion Post # 299 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars from Franklin-Hales Corners held a short Veterans Day ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in Hales Corners Park. I was honored to be one of five speakers to commemorate this day.
On Sunday, November 10, 2013, we honored all of our veterans with a short, poignant ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in Hales Corners Park.
