In celebration of Earth Day, nearly 50 Whitnall students joined Mr. Seaverts and the Friends of Hales Corners Park & Pool organization for their annual Earth Day Clean-up. Students from WHS Red Cross Club, WMS Stuudent Council, WMS 6th grade Science, along with other Whitnall Middle School, Hales Corners Elementary and Edgerton Elementary stuudent representing their scout troops got up early to help clean out the wading pool, the inside of Hales Corners Pool, and both parking lots to get them ready for this summer.
The collaboration of students from service clubs from all our schools and community members was a shining example of what can be accomplished when a community comes together for a common goal—a cleaner, greener future for all.
