Critical Meeting Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors Annual Budget Meeting

Happy Friday, Community Friends,

I hope you are doing well. I’m writing to ask you to please consider making your voice heard and encouraging Milwaukee County Supervisors to open Hales Corners Pool next summer.

Hales Corners Pool has been closed for five straight summer seasons after approximately $500,000 worth of improvements were made eight years ago, including a new pool liner and a new metal roof on the pool house.

Not to mention the 12-15 public-private partnerships implemented from 2003-2019 to keep the pool house, pool, and park updated, clean, and afloat.

The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the 2025 recommended budget on Monday, October 28, 2024, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Zoofari Center, 9715 W. Bluemound RD in Milwaukee.

This is the time to speak about opening Hales Corners Pool rather than next June.

Please see the attachment for additional information.

The hearing allows the public to speak directly to the supervisor about the budget. Or to get more information or register to participate virtually
online at: Milwaukee.gov/CountyBoard

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to seeing you on Monday night.

Best regards,
